Don’t Let Healthy Food Hibernate, Help Bring Farm Fresh Food to Dorchester!

With just over one month to market day, preparations for the winter market are coming along. Daily, we turn corners and leap through hoops, planning place-making activities, securing permits, and ensuring vendors meet every logistical need and city requirement. We hear tell a ribbon cutting may feature powerful patrons of food access… details to come. Amazing plans are in the works to support local food systems, empowering residents, youth, and local store owners. Every success comes with your support, your collaboration.

Please help us to reach $4000 on Kickstarter by 12:00 p.m. on December 11––four weeks before the market opens. We need only $900 to meet this goal. This will keep us on track for our January target of $5000, funds that are needed to support the market expenses and make this a big success. The more funds we can raise for the Winter Market, the better we can provide for our community––Exceeding our $5000 Kickstarter Goal will ensure that we will have ample resources to fully fund the Bounty Bucks program, and continue to provide exciting programming for the full three months of the Winter Market.

If you have contributed already, we are so appreciative of your generous support! If you have been wanting to contribute but haven’t done so yet––now would be a great time to demonstrate the grassroots community support for this Winter Farmers’ Market! Please forward the appeal to your friends and family. We are getting much closer to reaching our goal.
