Dorchester Community Food Co-op

Building a Healthy, Sustainable & Economically Viable Community

Fresh Fridays

The 2013 Season of Fresh Fridays was an amazing success.
More than 750 adults and children attended,
coming from the Bowdoin Geneva neighborhood and all over Dorchester.
We shared delicious home made healthy food,
and relaxed with friends and neighbors in the new
“Bowdoin Geneva Community Hub–the future site of the
Dorchester Community Food Co-op
at the corner of Bowdoin and Topliff Streets.
The new CERO recycling collective worked with us to make this a zero waste event.

We thank the Bowdoin Geneva Neighborhood Response Team,  the New England Grassroots Environmental Fund, and Mayor Menino’s Office of Food Initiatives for their support in making Fresh Fridays possible
